DREAM HIMALAYAS ( 13 Nights / 14 Days)
Amritsar - Dalhousie - Dharamshala - Manali - Shimla - Amritsar

Day 1 : Arrive Amritsar
Arrive Amritsar. On arrival in Amritsar you will be welcomed by our representative present at Amritsar Airport carrying placard of your name. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay

Day 2 : Amritsar
After breakfast move for sightseeing covering Golden Temple-the holy scripture is brought in a vivid procession from the Akal Takhat (the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs) in the morning to the temple to be returned at night. Singing is central to Sikh worship & is a feast to the souls when hymns from the holy scripture are recited Kirtan and the waves of the classical ragas, a sublim blend of voice & music.

Jallianwala Bagh-the historic site where hundreds of innocent Indian men, women an children were massacred by British General Michael Dyer on April 13, 1919. A memoral and Garden have been created here as a national monument.

Afternoon visit Indo-Pak Border to watch retreat ceremony-30 KM on the road to Lahore is India-Pakistan Border. A visit to the border is an interesting experience especially at Sunset, when the retreat ceremony takes place with the Border Security Force on the Indian Side and the Sutlej Rangers on the Pakistan side putting up a well coordinated and spectacular display. The sound from the Bugles blown together from both sides paints past on the canvas when India and Pakistan were one, simultaneously Flags of the two nations are ceremoniously retrieved and lights are switched on marking the end of the day. Amidst thunderous applause today this point is the only land route open to approach Pakistan and central Asia. Return to hotel in the afternoon. Overnight stay.

Day 3 : Amritsar - Dalhousie 200Kms, 4 ½ hrs
After breakfast transfer to Dalhousie. Reach Dalhousie. Check in hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 4 : Dalhousie
Have breakfast. Full day at leisure in Dalhouse. Overnight stay.

Day 5 : Dalhousie - Dharamshala 170 Kms,5 hrs.
Have breakfast. Transfer to Dharamsala/Mcleodganj- Originally home of the semi-nomadic Gaddi tribe, McLeodganj is today the residence of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. This mid 19th century place was developed as a British Garrison. The place was developed as an important administrative point for the whole Kangra valley. Today the place has developed as headquarters of the exiled Tibetan Government. The impressive monastery has larger than life size images of Buddha, Padmasambhava and Avaloketeshwara.Late evening Check in hotel. Overnight stay.


Day 6 : Dharamsala
Have breakfast. Move for sightseeing covering Namgayal Monastery,

Bhagsunath Temple- Just 11-km from the town center of Dharamsala is the ancient temple of Bhagsunath. There are many fresh watersprings close to the temple, which are considered sacred by the Hindus.

St. John's Church: One of the most poignant memories of the British Raj is the church of St. John, situated in the wilderness. This charmingly dressed stone church is located just 8-km from Dharamsala on the way to McLeod Ganj. Under the shade of Doedar branches, a memorial has been made over the body of the British Viceroy, Lord Elgin who died at Dharamsala in 1863. & Tibetian Children Village Institute. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.


Day 7 : Dharamsala
Have breakfast. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 8 : To Manali 253 Kms,8 hrs
After breakfast. Leave for Manali-the most sought after Destination of Kulu Valley. Also referred to as the "Valley of the Gods", Manali is an important hill station of northern India and is the destination of thousands of tourists every year. Tours in Manali provide cool atmosphere for the ones afflicted by the hot Indian summers. Besides offering quite a few places for sightseeing, Manali is also an ideal place for the ones in search of both comfort and also for adventure sports like skiing, hiking, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting, trekking, kayaking, and mountain biking. Day 9 : In Manali
After breakfast. Morning at leisure for your own activities Afternoon move for the sightseeing in Manali covering.

Vashishtha Baths-The hot water spring of Vashishtha is famous for its medicinal power and a must visit site during vacations in Manali. A large number of people throng here for a bath as the water of the spring is believed to cure several diseases. There is a pyramidal stone temple nearby, which is dedicated to Vashishta Muni.

Hadimba Devi Temple-The Hadimba Devi temple is an important place to visit for tourists on vacation in Manali. The temple is dedicated to the goddess-turned-demoness Hadimba (or Hirimba), the wife of Bhima. Built in the 1553, this temple is locally known as Doongri Mata temple. Return to hotel. Day 10 : In Manali
After breakfast. Take a walk and chase the shepherd trails Way up to the hills of the Kullu Valley and capture a Picture of Himalayan Culture. Afterwards visit Tibetan Monastery-Tourists must surely visit the colourful Tibetan monastery during their vacation in Manali. The monastery is famous for its carpet-weaving unit where the residents, the immigrants from Tibet, produce handicrafts of various kinds that attract the tourists towards it. Evening at leisure. Day 11 : To Shimla 270 Kms ,7 hrs
After breakfast leave for Shimla-the summer capital of British Raj Reach Shimla late evening. Check in hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 12 : In Shimla
After breakfast move for local sightseeing in

Shimla - The pleasant sprawling town set among the pine-clad hills presents the visitor with glimpses of fading colonial charm. The buildings, The Mall, the picnic spots tell you the story of the era when it was the summer capital of the British India. A visit to the Mall brings you to the centre of activity in the city. Move around the city and you get to see some of the fascinating sights of the landscape around. Some of the major attractions around are Jakhoo Hill, Glen, Summer Hill, Chadwick Falls, Prospect Hill, Institute of Advance Studies, Sankat Mochan, Taradevi Temple and Himachal State Museum.
The excursions around Shimla are equally interesting experience as they unveil to you the glory of the Raj era. You can take a trip to the oldest and highest golf course in India and to the world's highest cricket ground. For the religious minded, the ancient temples around the Shimla are worth a visit. Some of the interesting spots around Shimla are Naldhera, Tattapani, Wildflower Hall, Mashobra, Craignano, Kufri and Chail.Return to hotel. Overnight stay.


Day 13 : Shimla - Amritsar
Have breakfast. Pack up your luggage. Transfer to Amritsar. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 14 : Depart Amritsar
Transfer to Airport to board your flight back home. Your tour ends here
